Provision has been made for the Voice of the Child to be heard in relation to Child Care proceedings since the coming into force of S26 of the Child Care Act 1991. There is now recognition that the voice of the child should be heard in the context of family law and other proceedings involving children. We are committed to ensuring that Children’s rights are upheld and vindicated in all matters in which we are involved.
We have extensive experience acting on behalf of Guardians ad Litem, who are professionals appointed by the Court to ensure that the voice of the child is heard in proceedings relating to a child. We can draw on this experience and on our knowledge of all aspects of Child Law in advising our clients both in the context of relationship breakdown and in any proceedings relating to children.
